Upon my arrival and after a brief initial confusion regarding the key lock, my concerns gradually subsided. This flat offers commendable value for its central location-just steps from the train/bus station and a stone's throw from the beach. The spacious living area includes a comfortable sitting area and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and a washing machine. Although I found some details, such as the bathroom's paintwork and carpet cleanliness, could benefit from attention, it is more than adequate for a holiday base. The garden area extends the living space outdoors, perfect for enjoying Penzance's temperate climate. Wi-Fi was available, though I discovered the access code too late to utilize it fully. For travelers mindful of budget versus experience, Flat 1 strikes a sensible compromise-providing essential comforts without the ostentation often associated with luxury stays.
